Refund policy

1. Introduction

At Late Night Tales, we are committed to ensuring our customers have a seamless shopping experience. This policy outlines your rights regarding refunds and returns in compliance with UK consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

2. Digital Products

All digital downloads, including but not limited to MP3s, WAVs, and other electronic files, are non-refundable and non-returnable once the purchase has been completed. By completing a digital purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you forfeit your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, as digital content is provided immediately.

However, if a digital product is faulty, corrupted, or fails to function as advertised, please contact us at sales@latenighttales.co.uk within 14 days of purchase. We will investigate the issue and, if necessary, provide a replacement or refund in accordance with UK consumer law.

3. Physical Products

We accept returns and refunds for physical products, including but not limited to vinyl records, CDs, and merchandise, in compliance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Your rights are as follows:

(a) Faulty or Incorrect Goods


If an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect upon arrival, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement. Please contact us within 30 days of receiving the item, providing proof of purchase and photographic evidence of the issue. You may be required to return the item at no cost to you.

(b) Change of Mind (Cooling-Off Period)


If you change your mind about a purchase, you have 14 days from the date of receiving the item to notify us of your intention to return it. You must return the product within 14 days of notifying us, unused and in its original packaging.

Refunds for change-of-mind returns will be issued once the item has been received and inspected. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

4. Return Process

To initiate a return, please email sales@latenighttales.co.uk with your order details and reason for return. Once approved, you will receive instructions on how to return your item.

For all returns:

Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

Late Night Tales is not responsible for lost or damaged returns, so we recommend using a tracked service.

5. Exceptions

Personalised or customised items are non-refundable unless faulty.

For hygiene reasons, certain merchandise (e.g., clothing) may only be returned if unworn and in original packaging.

Sale or clearance items may only be refunded if faulty.
