The Flaming Lips - CD

There are very few bona fide rock icons in modern rock ‘n’ roll – but Wayne Coyne of The Flaming lips happens to be one of them. And that probably explains the widescreen approach that informs their Late Night Tale, which opens with ‘Unravel’ by Bjork and takes in Faust, The Chemical Brothers and The Psychedelic Furs along the way. Suitably enough, Radiohead, 10CC and ‘Another Green World’ by Brian Eno bring us gently back to earth. Psychedelic bang for your buck, if you will.

Includes the exclusive Flaming Lips cover version of The White Stripes "Seven Nation Army"
