What an amusing career Matt Helders has had so far. Full time drummer with Arctic Monkeys, part time Diddy-Dirty Money crew member, occasional clothing designer and now esteemed Album curator for Late Night Tales. Offering a different take on the usual indie-rock template (Goblin, Mos Def, Minnie Riperton and Modeselektor all feature), it’s a refreshingly esoteric selection that even includes a short story from King Monkey Alex Turner and exclusive cover version of Livin' Joys "Dreamer".
