If you though Snow Patrol were all about heartfelt balladry, you’ll be surprised by the breadth and scope of their Late Night Tale. Opening with Captain Beefheart (oh yes) and ‘Midnight’ by the legendary hip hop quartet A Tribe Called Quest, it’s celestial, sweet and not a little psychedelic. School Of Seven Bells, Holy Ghost! and John Martyn make up some of the remaining cast - part stellar, part under-stated and with an INXS cover at the end to boot. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised.
